Density RF

Two kinds of radiofrequency in one treatment: deep monopolar heat for firmness, and bipolar heat closer to the surface for texture.

What is Density

Density is a radiofrequency device made by Jeisys in Korea. It combines monopolar RF, which reaches deeper into the dermis and the tissue beneath, with bipolar RF, which works closer to the surface. The two are delivered in sequence in the same session.

The aim is broad firming from the deep energy and a smoother, tighter surface from the shallow energy. The device measures the skin’s resistance as it works and adjusts output, and a cooling system protects the surface.

Density is cleared by the US FDA and is one of the newer Korean devices visitors ask about alongside Thermage and Oligio X.

Before you decide

It may suit you if

  • You have early to moderate laxity
  • Crepey texture bothers you as well as firmness
  • You want a single session with little downtime
  • You want to maintain skin before laxity progresses

It may not be the right treatment if

  • Laxity is advanced
  • You have a pacemaker or implanted electronic device
  • You are pregnant
  • There is active infection or inflamed skin in the area

Implants and recent fillers in the area are discussed before treatment.

What to expect

Timing. A small immediate change, then gradual firming as collagen remodels over two to three months or more.

Degree. Firmer skin and smoother texture; not a surgical lift.

Duration. It varies; maintenance is commonly about once a year.

Risks. Redness, swelling and tenderness are expected. Uncommonly, small burns can occur.

Results differ from person to person. Nothing on this page is a prediction of your own outcome, and it does not replace a consultation. See our Medical Disclaimer.
