About Maylin Clinic Apgujeong
Maylin Clinic Apgujeong (메이린압구정의원) is the Apgujeong branch of the Maylin Doctor Network, in Sinsa-dong, Gangnam, Seoul. The doctor who examines your skin is the doctor who plans the treatment and carries it out. This page sets out how the clinic runs, who works here, and what to expect from a visit.
What kind of clinic this is
Maylin Apgujeong is an aesthetic medical clinic. Each clinic in the Maylin Doctor Network is independently run, and this one is run by the doctors who treat here. Consultation, examination, planning and treatment are done by the same doctor rather than passed between a counselor and an operator.
The clinic occupies floors B1 to 4F of the Hyeong Building at 815 Eonju-ro, about ten minutes on foot from Dosan Park.
How we work
Four things hold on every visit, whichever treatment you book.
Genuine, sealed products
Fillers and neurotoxins are taken from their sealed packaging and opened in front of you.
A doctor sets the plan
Your skin is examined and the plan is decided by a doctor before anything is booked.
Single-use instruments
Needles and disposables are used once, for one patient, and then discarded.
Explained in your language
What the treatment does, what it will not do, and the aftercare are given to you in writing before you pay.

What we treat
Most of what we do falls into four groups. Which treatment inside a group suits you, and whether you need one at all, is decided in consultation after your skin has been examined.
Lifting
Ultherapy Prime and Thermage FLX reach different depths and do different work.
Injectables
Botox for lines that come from movement, dermal fillers for volume that has been lost.
Acne and tone
Active acne, the marks it leaves and uneven tone are three separate problems, usually treated in that order.
Coming from abroad
Consultation is available in English. Before you travel, the plan and the estimate are settled in writing over WhatsApp, LINE or KakaoTalk, so the appointment is confirmed before you book flights.
