These are the terms on which this website is provided. They are about the website. They are not the terms of your treatment, which are agreed with a doctor at the clinic, in person, after an examination.

What this site is

This is the website of Maylin Apgujeong, a clinic at 815 Eonju-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. It describes treatments the clinic performs and sets out the evidence behind those descriptions.

It is general information. It is not a diagnosis, not a treatment plan, and not advice about your particular skin. Reading it does not make you a patient of this clinic and does not create a doctor and patient relationship. That begins when a doctor examines you.

Enquiries and appointments

Sending an enquiry is not a booking. An appointment exists when we have confirmed it to you in writing with a date and a time.
What is discussed before you arrive is provisional. The treatment plan is decided after examination, and may differ from what was discussed, including a recommendation to do nothing for now.
We may decline to treat. Where a treatment is not suitable, or not suitable yet, we will say so.

Prices

Where this site shows a price, it is the posted price for that treatment at the time of writing, before tax where tax applies. Prices change. The price that applies to you is the one you are given in writing at the clinic before treatment. Nothing on this site is a promotional offer or a discount.

What you may do with the content

The text, photographs and illustrations here belong to Maylin Apgujeong or are used with permission. You may read them, print them, and quote a short passage with a link back. You may not republish pages, copy them into another clinic site, or use our photographs or the clinic name to suggest a connection that does not exist.

Papers published by our doctors belong to their publishers. Follow the links on the Journal Articles page and read them where they were published.

Links to other sites

We link to medical journals, societies and regulators so that you can check what we say. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what they publish or for how they treat your information.

What we are and are not responsible for

We take care that what we publish is accurate, and we correct it when it is not, under the Correction Policy. What we cannot do is guarantee that a general description fits your case. Acting on a page here instead of on an examination is not something this site supports.

Nothing on this page limits our responsibility for the treatment we actually provide, or for anything that cannot be limited under Korean law. Those obligations stand whatever a website says.

We do not promise that the site is always available or free of error. If something is wrong, tell us and we will fix it.

If these terms change

We will change this page when the site changes, and the date below will change with it. Using the site after that means the new terms apply.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Korea, and a dispute about them belongs in a Korean court.
