Why people fly to Korea for Rejuran
Rejuran is a Korean polynucleotide treatment and is not FDA-approved, so it is not generally offered in US clinics. In Korea it is routine, which is why it is one of the treatments visitors most often ask about.
Is it really from salmon?
Yes. The active ingredient is polynucleotide (PN) purified from salmon DNA. It is processed and purified before use. If you have a fish allergy, tell us before treatment.
Types of Rejuran
The original Healer is used for overall skin quality. HB adds hyaluronic acid and a local anaesthetic for comfort. There is a version for thin under-eye skin, and a thicker one used for scars. The doctor recommends a type after looking at your skin.
Pain, bumps and planning
Rejuran is known for stinging during injection; numbing cream helps, and the HB version is gentler. Small raised bumps follow and usually flatten within a day or a few days, so have it early in your trip, not the day before photos.
