Korean focused ultrasound that can deliver energy in continuous lines as well as dots, at set depths under the skin.

What is LinearZ

LinearZ is a high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) device made by Jeisys in Korea. Like other HIFU devices, it focuses ultrasound to small points under the skin, where the heat contracts tissue and prompts new collagen — without affecting the surface.

Its distinguishing feature is a linear mode: instead of only firing separate dots, it can deliver energy in continuous lines. Cartridges target different depths, from the dermis down to the SMAS layer that a surgical lift works on.

It is fast, which shortens treatment time, and is one of several Korean HIFU devices used alongside Ultherapy.

02

Before you decide

It may suit you if

  • You have mild to moderate laxity
  • You want lift without surgery
  • You want a quicker treatment
  • You can wait for the result to develop

It may not be the right treatment if

  • Laxity is advanced
  • You are pregnant
  • There is active infection or inflamed skin in the area
  • You need a visible change by a fixed date

Very thin faces may need care with deeper settings, which is decided at examination.

What to expect

Timing. A small early change, then gradual lifting over two to three months.

Degree. A tighter, cleaner line, not a surgical lift.

Duration. It varies; many people repeat it periodically.

Risks. Redness, swelling and tenderness are expected. Uncommonly, bruising, temporary numbness or nerve irritation can occur.

Results differ from person to person. Nothing on this page is a prediction of your own outcome, and it does not replace a consultation. See our Medical Disclaimer.
